You are right. Well, take this one.

NormedVector := function ( vec )
    local   zero, elm;
    zero := vec[1] - vec[1];
    for elm  in vec  do
        if elm <> zero  then
            return (1/elm) * vec;
        fi;
    od;
    return vec;
end;

I will include this patch in the second upgrade, which will be posted to
the GAP Forum tomorrow. I have also forwarded your mail to the GAP
Forum.
